CREATRONIC Media Supply supported the Steigenberger Belvedere hotel during the World Economic Forum in Davos, where the existing IT infrastructure and room wiring were too old to handle the event’s demanding connectivity needs. To deliver reliable communications for international guests and conference participants, the company turned to ZyXEL, using equipment such as DSLAM-IES-1000 access equipment and P2612HW routers for wireless access and VoIP.

ZyXEL helped CREATRONIC Media Supply build a highly complex temporary network across the hotel, including wired and wireless internet, VoIP, and print/copy services. The solution was installed under tight time constraints and supported about 40 of the hotel’s 130 rooms, enabling business operations throughout the WEF; CREATRONIC also noted ZyXEL’s easier configuration, strong price/performance ratio, and responsive support as key advantages.
