Comprehensive Solution for Providing Internet Access in the Hotel

Grand Hotel Pupp, a historic luxury hotel in Karlovy Vary, needed to provide secure high-speed Internet access across its 228 rooms, 11 conference rooms, and public areas without disrupting operations or altering the building’s historic fabric. The hotel chose Zyxel and its Hotel Solutions portfolio to avoid invasive cabling and support reliable guest Internet access, billing, and integration with the hotel’s Fidelio system.

Zyxel implemented a solution built around the IP IES-5000 DSLAM, 220 P-660RU ADSL 2+ routers, 20 P-660HW Wi‑Fi routers, the ZyWALL 1050 firewall, and the VSG-1200 v2 gateway. The result was fast deployment completed in about a week, use of existing telephone lines, unified billing, and simple administration with no interruption to hotel services, giving guests seamless Internet access throughout the property.
