A Zyxel Case Study
Bottesford Infants, a UK primary school, needed to replace an outdated council-run IT network that lacked a centralized server and caused downtime and class disruption. The school also had to support a growing number of connected devices, including 140 iPads, interactive screens, laptops, and desktops. Zyxel provided the networking technology for the upgrade, including its Nebula cloud-managed solution.
Zyxel and Education Lincs rebuilt the school’s ICT infrastructure with a new centralized server, Nebula cloud-managed access points, and PoE switches. The result was a fast, affordable, remotely manageable network with strong WiFi coverage, improved visibility and control, and immediate access to educational information for staff and pupils. The implementation was completed in just three hours, and the new platform is helping support learning across the school’s 206 pupils and 22 staff.
