A Secure, Powerful Wi-Fi Network for Sušice Primary School, Czech Republic

Sušice Primary School in the Czech Republic needed to build a high-quality wireless network across its classroom pavilions so teachers could connect laptops and mobile devices anywhere on campus, while keeping school servers secure and managing access centrally. Zyxel provided the networking foundation, including its USG 200 gateway, NWA3160-N and NWA-3100 access points, and GS2200-24 / ES-2024PWR switches.

Zyxel deployed a full campus Wi‑Fi solution with 14 NWA3160-N access points for teacher coverage, a public NWA-3100 network for students and visitors, PoE switches for easy AP installation, and USG 200 content filtering and security policies to separate and protect traffic. The result was full wireless coverage, centralized administration, secure segregated networks, and improved access to shared school materials for teachers, while public users were limited to controlled Internet access.
