Faison Group, a mid-sized benefits agency with offices in Fort Lauderdale and Richmond, shifted its focus from traditional benefits to a combined benefits-and-wellness model to differentiate in a crowded market and better educate prospects and clients. The challenge was to establish credibility as a “wellness authority,” deliver ongoing wellness programming, and win larger employer accounts.
To meet that need Faison adopted Zywave’s Broker Briefcase Benefits and the MyWave Elements portal (branded FaisonConnect), using monthly newsletters, 3–5 year wellness plans and downloadable materials to engage clients. The approach helped them win multiple large accounts—including three with over 1,500 employees and one exceeding 10,000—while strengthening marketing and creating a centralized “wellness hub” for clients.
