Mozzaz develops five EHR connectors with Zymr

Mozzaz, a Canada-based healthcare solutions company, wanted to build a service orchestration solution to easily integrate its digital health platform with a variety of leading electronic health record (EHR) systems. They also sought to create a HIPAA-compliant cloud and mobile solution to empower patients in their long-term care. Zymr was engaged to help address these challenges.

Zymr developed a Workflow Engine and integrated it with Mozzaz’s platform and various EHR systems. The solution included a drag-and-drop workflow designer and was built on Microsoft Azure with high availability for secure, full-duplex data exchange. Zymr specifically developed five EHR connectors and an Azure-based data analytics and reporting system for Mozzaz. This enabled flexible, rules-based integration and generated SMS notifications, allowing for flexible patient onboarding and making patients active participants in their care.
