Plantronics faced major Europe channel visibility challenges, including sales and inventory data in multiple languages and currencies, a complex multi-tier distributor network, and inconsistent, late, or incomplete reporting across more than 70 distributors. The company needed better weekly inventory planning, improved transparency into partner sales, and less administrative effort to chase missing data and exceptions. To address this, Plantronics worked with Zyme and used Zyme’s TrueData, ZAP Dashboard, and Data Steward Services.

Zyme implemented validated weekly data feeds, mapped non-standard partner codes to Plantronics part numbers, and provided dashboard visibility plus dedicated analysts to follow up on exceptions and track partner compliance. As a result, Plantronics tracked 95% of revenue within 3 months, processed over 35,000 transactions each week, cut sales transaction exceptions from 14.5% to 0.3%, and improved data accuracy to better than 99%. Zyme also helped free up sales teams to focus more on selling and enabled more accurate rebate and commission validation.
