Case Study: SemiCo improves channel data integrity and forecast accuracy with Zyme

A Zyme Case Study

Preview of the SemiCo Case Study

Channel Data Integrity in the Semiconductor Industry

SemiCo, a semiconductor company that sells more than 75% of its revenue through distributors, needed better control over complex special pricing, ship-and-debit processes, and error-prone channel data to improve financial compliance and forecast accuracy. After a recent earnings restatement, SemiCo turned to Zyme and its channel data integrity solutions to support more accurate revenue recognition and faster book close.

Zyme implemented tier-1 data consolidation and Sales-In Sales-Out (SISO) reconciliation, using analyst-led cleansing and validation to correct distributor POS, inventory, and end-customer data. The results were strong: weekly data errors dropped by about 85%, error resolution time fell from 1–2 weeks to 24 hours, inventory variance resolution improved by 80%, and SemiCo gained SOX-compliant audit records, better forecast visibility, and improved ship-and-debit tracking.
