Preview of the Leading Global Bank Case Study

Leading Global Bank invests in Zycus for Procurement Transformation

Leading Global Bank, a multinational financial services firm with 200M+ customer accounts and 250,000+ employees across 160+ countries, set out to transform procurement from a cost center into a strategic, value-adding partner. The bank needed better, action-oriented analytics, global standardization of metrics, and digitization to drive collaborative sourcing and measurable savings, and therefore invested in Zycus’s SaaS platform—notably Zycus Spend Analysis—to enable that change.

Zycus delivered spend data classification and analytics that supported Global Category Councils, standardized scorecards, and regionalized reporting, enabling more strategic sourcing and governance. As a result, by 2013 the bank achieved run-rate savings of $880M, procurement ROI of roughly 10x (9.7x reported), savings per sourcing FTE of $2.3M, and improved efficiency metrics (FTE per $Bn spend improved from 59 in 2010 to 40 in 2013), demonstrating clear, measurable impact from Zycus’s solution.
