Emirates NBD, one of the largest banks in the region with 110+ UAE branches, a sizable Islamic banking subsidiary and an expanding international footprint, faced the end of its Ariba contract and needed a more flexible, functional and cost-effective procurement platform to standardize repeat sourcing and contracting processes. Zycus implemented its eSourcing and Contract Management modules—delivering about 50 enhancements to address initial snags—and had the platform ready in roughly a month to six weeks. The Zycus solution standardized RFX/RFQ workflows with pre-defined templates, removed repetitive manual work across high-volume procurements, sped rollout through ease of use, and allowed Emirates NBD’s procurement leadership to focus on strategy rather than routine execution.
