The customer, CIYDI, a Mexican higher vocational education institution, faced a challenge in providing practical, hands-on engineering training due to the prohibitive cost of professional 3D CAD software. Their courses were previously limited to theory, which hindered students' ability to fully grasp product design and manufacturing workflows. ZWSOFT addressed this need by donating licenses for their all-in-one 3D CAD/CAE/CAM solution, ZW3D.

ZWSOFT's solution involved providing 20 premium ZW3D licenses and collaborating with CIYDI instructors to develop tutorial lessons. This integration of ZW3D's CAD, mold, and CAM modules into the curriculum allowed students to move from theory to practice, designing models and understanding the entire production workflow. The results were a remarkable enhancement in teaching effectiveness, enabling students to quickly adapt to the software and turn ideas into real products. ZWSOFT and CIYDI further cemented their partnership by co-building a ZW3D Training Center to promote engineering education in Mexico.
