Kupron Realizes Flexible Design and Shorter Lead Times with ZW3D

Kupron, a mold and die manufacturer based in the Netherlands, needed a more flexible and efficient CAD system to streamline its workflow and significantly shorten engineering times. To meet this ambitious objective, the company required a solution with strong hybrid modeling capabilities and turned to the vendor ZWSOFT for its product, ZW3D.

ZWSOFT implemented its ZW3D software, whose hybrid kernel provided the complete design freedom Kupron required by eliminating the boundary between solids and surfaces. This allowed the company to work problem-free with large, bulky files, some over a gigabyte in size, and import a wide variety of file types. As a result, Kupron realized a more flexible design process and achieved its goal of shorter lead times, with their CTO stating that ZW3D's performance with massive data sets is "not a problem at all."
