BioPlastics, a leading manufacturer of coated webbing products, was facing inefficiencies and extra costs. They previously used a 2D system to design extrusion dies, which then had to be sent to an outside vendor who would spend engineering time re-creating the designs in their own CAD/CAM program.

By implementing ZWSOFT's ZW3D software, BioPlastics began creating 3D models of the dies. These models could be sent directly to the tooling shop and used as-is, eliminating the need for translation or re-creation.
