ConGlobal Industries, the nation’s largest retailer of ISO shipping and intermodal equipment with 30 facilities and more than 700 employees, faced fragmented, siloed IT systems after a merger that caused duplicated systems, security gaps and weak disaster recovery. Lacking the in‑house server expertise to centralize operations, ConGlobal chose to outsource application hosting to Zumasys, using Zumasys’ always‑on hosted application services for depot management software, Microsoft Dynamics GP, Trinium Technologies trucking software, email and office applications.

Zumasys migrated ConGlobal’s applications into a single hosted environment (each site transitioned over a single weekend), centralized installations so apps no longer had to be installed on every PC, and extended the hosted solution to Mexico and Costa Rica. The Zumasys solution delivered real‑time reporting access, anywhere/anytime employee access, reduced IT staffing and hardware costs, and met ConGlobal’s disaster recovery and business continuity goals—freeing ConGlobal to focus on core operations and enabling customer portal development.
