My-Villages, an ISV serving the marine and RV market with DockMaster and the D3 database, needed a flexible, secure cloud platform to scale with rapid customer growth, improve usability and security, simplify its architecture by moving to Linux/virtualization, and lower delivery costs. To meet those goals they partnered with Zumasys to host their D3 Linux environment and offer DockMaster as a service from the Zumasys Cloud.

Zumasys migrated My-Villages to SuperNAP using VMware vCloud Director on Cisco UCS with NetApp storage, deploying D3 on a high‑performance Linux virtual server and encrypted communications. Zumasys delivered measurable results: iron‑clad security and a 100% uptime guarantee, NetApp SnapMirror backups, faster overnight software upgrades, consolidation from three Citrix servers to one Linux server, lower per‑user costs, and improved performance, availability and administrative control.
