Azalp, an eCommerce retailer in the Netherlands, sells high-ticket outdoor products such as gazebos, log cabins, saunas, and swimming pools. The company worked with Zuko and its CRO agency Fingerspitz to improve the checkout email field, because incorrect entries were causing delayed order communication, customer service requests, and lost trust.

Zuko was used to run a multivariate test on different email-field treatments, including email re-confirmation, explanatory microcopy, and a version with microcopy, a green validation tick, and a repeated email reminder before submit. Variant 3 performed best, lifting conversion, reducing time spent in the email field from 11.3 to 8.3 seconds, and helping customer support issues caused by bad email addresses fall from 2 per day to 2 per week.
