Enboarder, a company providing employee onboarding and performance management software, faced the challenge of unifying data from over a dozen disparate sources for analytics. They needed to move beyond using Salesforce as a makeshift analytics platform and build a best-in-class system to share insights across their company. To solve this, they turned to the vendor Zuar for a solution involving Zuar Runner for data pipelines.

Zuar implemented a medallion-style architecture using Zuar Runner to pull and prep data, with dbt for orchestration and Tableau for visualization. The insights were then securely shared company-wide using Zuar Portal. Implementation was rapid, with data ingestion achieved in hours and functional dashboards in a portal within a week. As a result, Enboarder now has frequent data snapshots feeding their warehouse, with full adoption by marketing, customer success, and sales teams.
