Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering (MMHE), a pioneer in Malaysia’s heavy industry, needed to migrate existing applications and better manage its growing volume of documents, knowledge, and databases. MMHE wanted to centralize information, reduce duplication, and improve collaboration and process automation, and it worked with ZSL to implement a SharePoint-based portal using Microsoft technologies.

ZSL delivered a centralized SharePoint solution that harmonized the existing environment, standardized enterprise platforms, and enabled workflow monitoring, document control, and enterprise search. Built on SharePoint 2013, SQL 2012, SharePoint Designer 2010, and related scripting/workflow tools, the portal improved access to information, strengthened security, and supported generic and customized departmental workflows, helping MMHE increase productivity and better manage business knowledge.
