Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB), Singapore’s primary drug enforcement agency, needed a better way to manage fixed assets across multiple divisions. Its existing finance-led process was largely manual, with officers maintaining assets by hand, limited support for other user groups, and time-consuming report preparation. ZSL delivered FAMS, a fixed assets management system built on SharePoint and Microsoft technologies, to address these gaps.

With ZSL’s FAMS, CNB implemented a controlled, flexible workflow for asset creation, transfer, checkout, stock take, and disposal, including barcode printing and scanner-based reconciliation. The solution improved productivity, enabled secure access and automated approvals, reduced manual errors, and gave all divisions a single end-to-end system for asset management.
