Zscaler™ accelerates cloud transformation for Genpact and its customers

Genpact, a global professional services firm with 87,000 employees across 75+ locations in 25 countries, set out on a cloud-first transformation to move its entire application stack and consolidate data centers. The company faced a technical and cultural challenge: embrace the internet as the primary network while securing customer connections, scale from a dozen to 100+ internet egress points, handle non–cloud-ready systems and partner constraints, and replace complex appliances and VPN-based access.

Genpact deployed Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) to enable secure local breakouts, replace perimeter appliances, and adopt a software-defined perimeter for remote access. The outcome was faster, more secure access to cloud apps, reduced exposure in public clouds, centralized single-pane-of-glass visibility and reporting (with deep SSL inspection and SIEM integration), more than 60 local breakouts to date, and plans to expand with Cloud Firewall and sandboxing capabilities.
