A Zscaler Case Study
The Agency for Restructuring and Modernisation of Agriculture (ARMA), the Polish government body that processes payments and services for more than 2 million farmers and employs around 11,000 people, needed a fast, secure way to support a suddenly remote workforce while meeting strict compliance requirements. When COVID-19 struck, ARMA had to rapidly expand secure remote access beyond its 300 IT users to thousands of staff without disrupting core services.
ARMA deployed Zscaler Internet Access and Zscaler Private Access, leveraging existing Active Directory policies to scale quickly, enable a BYOD program, and avoid new on‑premises infrastructure. The rollout enabled 6,000 users to work remotely within days (completed in about two weeks), kept services to farmers uninterrupted, and yielded an estimated 30% increase in employee productivity.
