Case Study: Women’s Tennis Association achieves Zero Trust security and faster, secure cloud access with Zscaler

A Zscaler Case Study

Preview of the Women’s Tennis Association Case Study

The WTA Modernizes its Infrastructure and Security

The Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) is a global sports organization with 1,600+ players across about 87 countries that supports more than 50 events and four Grand Slams. Facing a legacy “castle-and-moat” security model, the WTA needed a more secure, scalable, and cost‑effective infrastructure to enable a highly mobile, hybrid workforce and secure access to SaaS and private cloud applications.

The WTA adopted the Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange (including ZIA, ZPA, and ZDX), replacing third‑party VPNs and gaining multilayered threat protection, user‑to‑application segmentation, and SSL visibility. The change delivered faster (2–3×) secure access to SaaS and private apps, improved digital experiences with unified application and endpoint performance metrics, reduced attack surface, and lower latency via 150+ global PoPs.
