Porsche Informatik Modernizes Europe’s Largest Auto Retail Group with Zscaler

Porsche Informatik, part of Porsche Holding Salzburg, needed to modernize its aging security and infrastructure to support a next-generation digitalization platform for sales, leasing, financing, and back-office operations across a large automotive retail network. As the company adopted cloud tools like Microsoft 365, it turned to Zscaler and the Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange to replace legacy castle-and-moat security and meet its needs for scalability, performance, and flexibility.

Zscaler implemented the Zero Trust Exchange alongside Microsoft 365 for 30,000 employees through four parallel workstreams, completing the rollout in just a few months. The result was a rapid transition to remote work during COVID-19, improved business continuity and productivity, and lower IT overhead, with the same staff now managing a global connectivity footprint about 300% larger than before.
