A Zscaler Case Study
Persistent, a fast-growing IT engineering and services provider, needed to protect 23,000 remote workers, customer data, and intellectual property while replacing risky VPN-based access and reducing infrastructure complexity. The company turned to Zscaler and its Zero Trust Exchange platform to support secure access for a global hybrid workforce and improve the user experience.
With Zscaler, Persistent deployed Zscaler Internet Access, Zscaler Private Access, Data Protection, Digital Experience, and Deception to move users off VPNs, simplify its network, and strengthen zero trust security. The results included an 85% improvement in overall security posture, elimination of 11 security products, more than $2 million in annual capex/opex savings, private app access reduced from over four minutes to under one minute, and over 80 attacks detected in 90 days, including 31 high-risk attacks.
