CSR Limited, a leading building-products company serving Australia and New Zealand with nearly 200 sites and around 4,000 employees, faced an urgent need to replace ageing perimeter security, content-filtering and threat-management systems. The company also needed to better manage web-based threats and cloud application access, enforce corporate security policies consistently across diverse endpoints (including 800+ corporate laptops) and align with ISO 27001.

CSR adopted Zscaler’s cloud security platform (Web Premium Suite, Advanced Web Behavioural Analysis and a dedicated proxy port) to inspect and manage all internet traffic. The cloud-native solution reduced on‑premise overhead, enabled SAML autoprovisioning, improved malware detection and visibility across sites and mobile users, lowered endpoint infection rates and boosted WAN performance by directing internet traffic to Zscaler nodes.
