Amplifon, a Milan-based global leader in hearing care with about 20,000 employees and roughly 10,000 retail locations across 26 countries, needed a cloud-native security approach to protect sensitive patient data, deliver consistent user and patient experiences, replace aging appliances and VPNs, and speed secure M&A integration as it scaled worldwide.

By adopting the Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange (including ZIA, ZPA and ZDX), Amplifon consolidated legacy appliances into a single platform that enforces global and country-specific policies, provides end-to-end visibility, and eliminates VPN exposure. The deployment protected 15,000+ users with secure direct access, processed 7.4 billion transactions (≈472 TB) and, in three months, prevented ~13.8 million policy violations and blocked >489,000 threats, while enabling M&A integrations about 90% faster than before.
