Canon’s early adoption of Zoovu in omnichannel journey yields 14% increase in revenue amid lockdowns

Canon Europe, the EMEA arm of Canon Inc., needed to quickly adapt its existing digital assistants to shifting consumer needs during COVID-19 lockdowns—particularly helping people buying printers for work-from-home and school-at-home. Canon, which has worked with Zoovu and its conversational search technology for over nine years, turned to its Printer Advisor to better guide customers through considered purchases.

Working with the Zoovu customer success team, Canon re-tailored and relaunched the Printer Advisor in under two weeks, adding more entry points, homepage integration and an internal Ink Finder to boost visibility and relevance. The Zoovu-powered changes drove a 29% increase in Printer Advisor usage, 62% of users reaching the recommendations/product pages, a 53% lift in conversion and a 14% increase in revenue.
