Zoom ‘Paving the Way’ for Texas A&M’s Modern Delivery of Distance Learning & Online Education

Texas A&M University faced rapid enrollment growth and the need to deliver consistent, high-quality distance and hybrid learning across campuses, while making better use of faculty and student time. The university turned to Zoom Video Communications to support modern online education and improve the experience for a large, distributed student body.

Zoom Video Communications implemented Zoom, including Zoom Rooms and archived session features, to enable synchronous and asynchronous learning, active classroom engagement, and broader campus adoption. Texas A&M expanded usage to 79,000 licenses across faculty, staff, and students, improving efficiency and giving students access to recordings, transcripts, and virtual learning tools that support more flexible study and teaching.
