A Zoom Video Communications Case Study
WorkRamp, a training and development software company founded in 2015 that serves sales and customer success teams (customers include PayPal, Intercom, Udacity, and McAfee), needed a high-quality video communications solution to support features like screen sharing, chat, and multi-attendee sessions. After initially building basic web-based video in-house, the team decided to adopt a best-in-market provider rather than continue expanding their native video stack.
WorkRamp integrated Zoom’s API into its platform, enabling native screen sharing, annotations, streaming instructor-led training, and faster content creation for thousands of clients while simplifying admin notifications, troubleshooting, and usage analytics. Zoom also became a core internal tool for sales and support—improving customer interactions and integrating smoothly with WorkRamp’s workflows (including Slack).
