TaskHuman’s Engineering Team Enhances Service Delivery with Zoom’s Video SDK

TaskHuman, a Saratoga, California–based technology company founded in 2017, connects users with human experts via 1:1 video calls across nearly 1,000 wellbeing and professional topics. As the company expanded globally its legacy video SDK produced inconsistent audio/video, frequent call failures in low-bandwidth regions, and demanded significant engineering time to diagnose problems—plus TaskHuman needed better APIs and session data to streamline operations.

In early 2021 TaskHuman migrated to Zoom’s Video SDK with a seamless rollout, leveraging plug-and-play callbacks and strong documentation. The switch delivered more reliable calls (especially on weak networks), reduced support requests, added the desired REST API and in-session chat capabilities, and improved overall service delivery and customer perception of the TaskHuman brand.
