Sales Enablement Society Uses Zoom to Build a Network of Trust Across the Globe

Sales Enablement Society is a nonprofit membership organization (founded 2016) with more than 2,700 members across 40 global chapters that relies on volunteers to advance the sales enablement profession. As they prepared their first full-scale society conference in 2017, geographically dispersed volunteers with limited time and resources struggled to build the trust and clarity needed—previous conferencing tools lacked focused, reliable video, making engagement and coordination difficult.

By adopting Zoom’s face‑to‑face video, recording, and Facebook Live features, the society made planning meetings more engaging, improved speaker recruitment and sponsorship conversations, and created social media-ready testimonials. The approach helped deliver a sold-out first conference of nearly 300 attendees with net positive revenue, and Zoom remains central to the society’s daily operations, chapter meetings, webinars and future programs.
