Global Knowledge, a leading global IT training and professional development provider serving over 50,000 virtual students a year, needed a more interactive and flexible platform than its incumbent one-way solution. The organization required a system that could handle unique scheduling workflows—classes created before instructors are assigned, irregular recurring sessions, and seamless student access to live sessions and recordings through its MyGK portal—while being easy to use and tightly integrable with its existing Microsoft-based IT stack.

Global Knowledge implemented Zoom and used the Zoom API to build a tailored scheduling and hosting workflow that supports instructor switches, irregular recurring meetings, and retrieval of recordings in the student portal. The result was a more engaging remote learning experience, a measurable increase in net promoter score, and ongoing product enhancements from Zoom (audible chat notifications, pre-assigned breakout rooms, searchable live meetings), establishing a scalable, long-term partnership.
