Building a Connected Campus at Kellett School in Hong Kong

Kellett School is a leading British international school in Hong Kong that faced the urgent challenge of moving to remote learning during COVID-19—including recreating hands‑on early years lessons and maintaining a sense of community across two campuses. The school needed a way to keep students engaged, protect classroom security, and sustain consistent teaching while parents and staff adapted to distancing measures.

Kellett partnered with Zoom, using Meetings and Webinars plus features like breakout rooms, Waiting Rooms, and centralized host controls, and sent home learning packs to standardize resources. Teachers adapted “Live Learning” methods and ran virtual events and professional development; the result was a rapid, secure shift to remote learning, stronger student participation (including quieter pupils), consistent classroom experiences, and new opportunities for blended teaching and staff development.
