Daiichi Sankyo improves real-time visibility with Zoolatech’s SSE architecture

Daiichi Sankyo, a global pharmaceutical company, faced challenges with its complex WebSocket infrastructure, which resulted in unreliable real-time execution visibility and scalability constraints. To address these limitations, the company partnered with vendor Zoolatech to modernize its real-time communication layer and improve operational awareness.

Zoolatech implemented a simplified real-time event streaming architecture using Server-Sent Events (SSE) and integrated RabbitMQ for messaging-driven updates. This solution replaced the previous WebSocket system, significantly reducing architectural complexity and improving the reliability of update delivery. As a result, Daiichi Sankyo gained consistent real-time insight into backend processes, enhancing workflow transparency and establishing a scalable, future-ready event infrastructure.
