RBKC Museums launches a WCAG 2.2 site with Zoocha after 10+ years without an update

The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC) Museums faced the challenge of an outdated digital platform that no longer reflected their modernized brand identities, as their website had not been updated in over a decade. They enlisted the digital agency Zoocha to design and develop a new, modern platform to showcase their museums and better engage target audiences, including younger demographics and educational institutions.

Zoocha's solution involved a user-centered approach, beginning with a discovery workshop and two rounds of user research prototyping to inform the new design and information architecture. The resulting platform is fully responsive, meets WCAG accessibility standards, and provides RBKC with efficient content management tools. The project was a successful launch, strengthening the ongoing partnership between Zoocha and RBKC, which continues with support and continuous improvements to the digital estate.
