Using Synergy, Trident Precision Manufacturing Maintains a 5 to 6 Sigma Level

Trident Precision Manufacturing, an electromechanical contract manufacturer and Malcolm Baldrige award recipient, needed a stronger SPC solution to meet tighter customer documentation and aerospace regulatory demands and to make quality data readily accessible on the shop floor. After evaluating six vendors, Trident selected Zontec and its Synergy 2000 statistical process control (SPC) software to replace their previous package.

Zontec implemented Synergy 2000, providing operator‑level ease of use, extensive reporting, secure data entry, and shop‑floor communication features. As a result, Trident has maintained a consistent 5‑sigma performance level, reduced internal rejects and scrap by about 2%, diversified into aerospace, medical, defense and other markets, and strengthened customer and manufacturing communication through clearer, data‑driven reporting.
