Acme Aerospace Inc., a Transdigm Group business with more than 30 years designing and manufacturing aviation and aerospace battery systems, needed to move from labor-intensive, paper-based data collection to automated processes while improving traceability for FAA audits as demand and order volumes grew. To address this, Acme implemented Zontec’s Synergy 2000 Statistical Process Control (SPC) software.

Zontec’s Synergy 2000 automated measurement capture and real-time reporting so operators can record data with a button and managers can instantly access run charts, histograms and historical records for audits. The Zontec solution saved Acme about 50–60 man-hours per week (roughly 3,000 hours per year), cut operator setup time by about 30 minutes a day, and enabled the company to double output without adding staff while simplifying FAA audit traceability.
