Del Papa Distributing, a Texas beer distributor serving the upper Texas Gulf Coast, wanted to build a new 27-acre headquarters with a single secure network instead of separate systems for voice, data, video, and physical security. The company turned to Zones, Inc. to help improve operations, strengthen security, and support collaboration across its offices and warehouse, including needs like wireless communications, surveillance, and inventory temperature monitoring.

Zones designed and implemented a Cisco-based wired and wireless network that connected video surveillance, physical access controls, IP phones, TelePresence, digital signage, and warehouse sensors. The new environment improved security and employee safety, increased daily shipping capacity by 6 percent, boosted warehouse output by 6.4 percent per hour, and reduced energy consumption by 9 percent, while also making collaboration and customer service faster and easier.
