K&N Engineering, a leading manufacturer of air filters, oil filters, and air intakes, needed to replace an outdated phone system and contact center, and add an IP fax solution that no longer met business needs. To address these communications challenges, K&N worked with Zones, Inc. to evaluate modern unified communications options.

Zones, Inc. implemented a Cisco-based unified communications solution including Cisco Business Edition UC servers, Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Unity Connection, Cisco Jabber, Cisco Collaboration Edge Architecture, Imagicle StoneFAX, and Enghouse Interactive for Cisco UC. The new environment improved internal collaboration, expanded access for the global sales team, provided real-time statistics and better reporting, and reduced overhead through desktop faxing and centralized archiving, helping K&N improve customer service and operational efficiency.
