Seneca, a healthcare non-profit, needed to unify three separately managed communications environments after mergers created unreliable email service, high support costs, and HIPAA compliance concerns. Zones, Inc. helped Seneca evaluate and prepare its environment for a Microsoft cloud migration, using Microsoft Office 365 and Exchange Online along with Zones cloud migration services and Microsoft licensing support.

Zones, Inc. implemented a non-disruptive migration from multiple on-premises Exchange servers to a single Microsoft Office 365 and Exchange Online environment for about 1,400 mailboxes and more than one terabyte of messaging data. The project delivered reliable cloud-based communications, shared calendars and contacts, streamlined IT management, lower costs, and a HIPAA-compliant agreement, while also reducing downtime and improving support with onsite training and 60 days of post-migration assistance.
