Gana Trucking & Excavating is a family-owned Nebraska contractor that grew from one dump truck in 1995 to a mixed fleet of 100 commercial trucks and 200 pieces of heavy equipment. The company needed a telematics solution that could track and manage both trucking and vocational assets on a single platform, improve inspection and fuel-efficiency workflows, and unify two previously separate divisions.

GT&E deployed Zonar’s Ground Traffic Control platform with Zonar V4 TCUs, ZTrak trackers and EVIR electronic inspections. The system delivers real-time, fleetwide GPS visibility, digital inspections (cutting inspection times by about one-third), faster defect repairs and reduced downtime, higher stolen-equipment recovery, better driver exoneration, and data-driven decisions that led to selling underutilized assets and operating as one efficient fleet.
