Bridger Steel, a Gallatin County, Montana–based manufacturer of metal roofing and siding with a fleet of 20+ trucks, needed a more reliable telematics partner after its previous provider underdelivered. The company sought better engine diagnostics, verified inspections, accurate tracking and a driver-safety solution that drivers would accept without feeling surveilled.

Bridger implemented Zonar’s fleet suite—VTHU/Detroit diagnostics, Zonar Coach outward-facing smart dashcams with real-time audible feedback, EVIR electronic inspections via Connect tablets, ZFuel and Ground Traffic Control. The solution delivered immediate engine alerts and dealer routing, verified pre/post-trip inspections, HoS compliance and fuel insights, and cut driver safety notifications from about 0.4–0.5 to 0.01–0.04 per mile, producing safer drivers, safer trucks and more efficient operations.
