Wrexham Council makes its site WCAG 2.1 AA compliant and bilingual with Zodiac Media

Zodiac Media partnered with Wrexham Council, whose custom-built website lacked a CMS, was not WCAG 2.1 AA compliant, and featured bloated content that was not user-friendly. The vendor helped the council define its business and functional requirements before recommending and implementing a Drupal 8 solution to address these challenges.

Using an agile Scrum method, Zodiac Media developed the new site, utilizing community modules and creating custom ones to fill gaps. The result was a fully bilingual (English/Welsh) website that was WCAG 2.1 AA compliant at handover. The site was subsequently rated in the top 10 UK council websites for overall quality.
