Nestle Coffee‑Mate wanted to deepen fan connections for Valentine’s Day by helping people express love on social without the awkwardness of public PDA. Zocalo Group was brought in to create a branded social activation—Design My Valentine—that would move the brand beyond product messaging into real‑time creative engagement.
Zocalo Group produced a two‑day live event where artists turned fans’ short love notes into one‑of‑a‑kind valentines (using paint, glitter, sugar and coffee filters), photographed them and sent them back to fans within hours. The campaign generated 16,699,166 social impressions, a 2,332% increase in weekly engagement, a 78.4% increase in page likes and ranked as a top‑5 social media campaign for the brand.
