The University of Pennsylvania’s School and Center Annual Giving Support and Parent Outreach and Development teams needed a faster, more agile way to create donation-focused microsites and campaign content without relying on web developers or external agencies. They turned to Zmags and its Creator product (Creator by Zmags) to give marketing teams a self-service tool for building interactive, campaign-driven experiences.
After a brief onboarding with Zmags, the Penn team published newsletters, event microsites, and fundraising landing pages entirely in Creator, streamlining workflow so a single person can update content. In one Penn Athletics “Penn Proud” campaign week that used a Creator experience, 167 donors gave over $2,800 — 80% of that campaign’s donations — demonstrating Creator by Zmags’ clear impact on engagement and fundraising.
