Large Global Bank, one of the world’s top financial institutions, was struggling to manage billions of in-place files across global SharePoint and file shares without a universal file management strategy. The bank had no single source of truth, limited oversight of retention policies across regions, and growing volumes of redundant, outdated, and trivial (ROT) data that increased privacy, security, and compliance risk.
