Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia boosts vaccine app engagement with Zivtech and wins 2 awards

The Vaccine Education Center at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia faced the challenge of updating their static mobile app to better combat vaccine misinformation. Their existing app was difficult to update and lacked modern engagement features. They partnered with Zivtech for a mobile app redesign to address these issues.

Zivtech implemented a solution using a Drupal backend and React Native frontend, which empowered the client's team to easily publish new content and allowed for simultaneous updates on iOS and Android. The redesigned app, which included new features like push notifications and iPad compatibility, significantly improved user engagement and won a Communicator Award. Zivtech continues to provide support, helping the VEC effectively educate the public.
