Uncle Giuseppe’s, a 11-store specialty grocery chain known for scratch-made Italian foods, struggled with communication overload (email, texts, and lengthy Zooms), inconsistent task execution, and chaotic holiday catering peak days. To solve these operational pains they turned to Zipline’s unified operations platform for frontline communications, task management, and centralized resources.

Zipline replaced scattered channels with targeted messages, a Day Sheet for daily priorities, and consolidated planograms/recipes/SOPs, while enabling real-time task tracking (including coordinated 150‑foot deli case flips). The results: streamlined operations across all 11 locations, shorter store meetings (from as long as 90 minutes to about 30), over 600 tasks executed during the Christmas season with high compliance, and more consistent customer experiences — in short, Zipline freed up employee time and helped Uncle Giuseppe’s “run better stores.”
