Impressions, an online boutique founded by Ashley Milliren, faced friction when customers who came for single items often left without purchasing higher-priced styled looks until payday. To remove that barrier, Impressions partnered with Zip’s buy now, pay later platform (Quadpay) and added it as a checkout option on their Shopify site.
Zip’s solution was a quick, 30-minute integration that made BNPL available at checkout, encouraging immediate purchases; as a result Impressions’ day-to-day sales leveled out and customers bought sooner. The Zip partnership delivered measurable impact: a 34% lift in average order value for Zip purchases, Zip now represents 20% of all orders, and the Zip repeat customer rate is 50%.
