Clare Makes the Paint-Buying Journey More Joyful with Quadpay

Clare is a digitally native paint brand that set out to simplify a traditionally high-consideration purchase. Facing long customer consideration periods and prospects who often saved up before buying, Clare turned to Zip’s buy now, pay later (BNPL) solution (formerly Quadpay) to reduce friction and make painting projects more accessible.

Zip worked with Clare to integrate its BNPL offering (going live in January 2019), a process Clare’s COO called “seamless.” After launching Zip, Clare reported a 125% increase in average weekly sales via Zip and a 24% lift in average order value, helping accelerate the brand’s ecommerce growth even during COVID-19.
